Dr. Petra Adamkova was appointed director of Onko Unie, ops in November 2015. She graduated from the Faculty of Economics, UK and has been working in the field of Public Relations since 1998. She participated in educational campaigns in the field of healthcare and cooperates with the non-profit organization Alfa Human Service, zs., which is dedicated to supporting informal caregivers. In autumn 2019, she was elected to the head of the European network of oncology patient organizations under the patronage of ESGO as ENGAGe Co-chair and became the chairperson of the Voice of Oncology Patients committee, zs She is a member of ESMO and ESGO Council.
