Miss. Michaela Švábenická Graduate of the Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy (2023) and currently a student of the Master's degree in Occupational Therapy at the First Medical Faculty of Charles University. She is a professional dancer and she is interested in the Feldenkrais method. With her topic on the Feldenkrais method in occupational therapy she participated in two student scientific conferences – in Prague in the poster section (05/2023), in České Budějovice (11/2023) with an oral presentation. In June this year she published an article in the peer-reviewed professional journal “Ergoterapie: teorie a praxe” together with two other papers. In October she will actively participate in the 1st Occupational Therapy Europe Congress 2024 in Krakow and will start her four-year training in the Feldenkrais Method in the accredited Feldenkrais Training Prague 3 (2024 – 2028). Thanks to MUDr. Bc. Petra Sládková, Ph.D., she will soon become part of a large study dedicated to oncological rehabilitation, which is being carried out at the Bulovka University Hospital in Prague.
